RSL LifeCare’s Veteran and Family Hub network continued to grow and thrive throughout April to June 2026, providing welcoming places where veterans and their families could connect, access support, learn new skills and build lasting relationships. Across NSW and the ACT, our Hubs delivered programs, activities, events and services that strengthened wellbeing, reduced isolation and fostered community connection.
Connecting veterans and families across our network
Between April and June 2026, our Veteran and Family Hubs:
- Welcomed 6,348 visitors.
- Responded to more than 500 phone enquiries.
- Hosted 369 on-site events attended by 4,169 people.
- Participated in 91 community events.
These numbers reflect the growing role our Hubs play as trusted places for veterans and their families to access practical support, social connection and community engagement.
Central Coast Veteran & Family Hub
The Central Coast Veteran and Family Hub continued to expand its popular program offering this quarter, introducing activities including a “Not Karaoke” singing group and a ribs masterclass that brought veterans together for a day of cooking, learning and connection.
The Hub also hosted its inaugural Allied Health and Wellbeing Expo, bringing together more than 16 local organisations and service providers to create a one-stop shop for information and support. Visitors had the opportunity to learn more about nutrition, pharmacy, occupational therapy, mobility aids and mental wellbeing while connecting with local experts and support services.
Outreach clinics remained an important part of the Hub’s service delivery, helping veterans and families access claims appointments, financial assistance and wellbeing support closer to where they live.

Expanding support for veterans and familiesÂ
The quarter also saw continued progress towards expanding the Veteran and Family Hub network.  We’re pleased to announce that the Bardia Barracks Veteran and Family Hub doors are now open, and we are well on the way to finalising the permanent Hawkesbury Veterans’ and Families’ Hub at the historic Richmond Courthouse. These projects represent significant investment in ensuring more veterans and families can access support, services and connection close to home. Â
As our network continues to grow, so too does our ability to support veterans and families throughout every stage of life. Whether through wellbeing programs, social activities, claims support, advocacy services or simply a welcoming place to connect, our Veteran and Family Hubs remain at the heart of veteran support across NSW and the ACT. Â
