No, you do not necessarily need experience for domestic assistance tasks without formal qualifications. To undertake more complex services including medication management, personal care and social support, you will require a Certificate III in Individual Support/Aging Support as a minimum.

Tasks could include personal care, social support, domestic assistance, assistance with medications, in home respite care and transporting clients.

Travel time and kilometres is paid from client to client.
We have an in depth onboarding process as well as joint visits (buddy shift) in the field with an experienced support worker to help you learn on the job.
Unlike Residential Care, your clients for home care will be in their own homes. You will typically have 4-5 clients in a day, each in their own homes, not the same facility. If you enjoy independence and variety, this could be the job you’ve been looking for!
