Every November, we pause to honour the service and sacrifice of our veterans. But for those who wore the uniform – and their families – the need for support continues long after the bugle’s last note fades.
Jason, an Army veteran, recently shared with us
“I had lost my way. Just having a stable and safe place to live and being supported by RSL LifeCare team members and peer support workers, has been the most beneficial thing for my health and my life,” Jason said. “Homes for Heroes gave me the chance to put my feet on the ground and feel safe.”

Veterans across New South Wales and the ACT are facing challenges that no one should face alone:

At RSL LifeCare, we assist more than 14,500 veterans and their families through our Veteran and Family Hubs, as well as those receiving claims and advocacy support, aged care services and other essential programs. We offer connection, healing, and hope – where veterans find community, access vital services, and begin rebuilding their lives.

As a not-for-profit, RSL LifeCare continues to support veterans, their families, and seniors facing ill health, disability, homelessness, or poverty, thanks to the generosity of our community. Guided by compassion and respect, we strive to ensure everyone finds comfort, dignity, and connection to live their best lives.
All gifts over $2 are tax deductible. A tax receipt will be emailed for one-off donations. Regular monthly or quarterly donors will receive an annual tax statement, near the end of the financial year.
