The Dugout Café

Located on the ground floor of the Gallipoli building in the heart of Anzac Village is ‘The Dugout’ – a licensed bar, bistro and café. Open for breakfast through to dinner it’s a great place to catch up with family and friends during the week or on weekends. Enjoy indoor or undercover outdoor seating overlooking the bowling green or stunning views of Narrabeen Lake. Also just outside is an enclosed kid’s playground, boules, croquet and a mini-golf course for the young and young at heart.

Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 7:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am – 7:00pm
Sunday: 9:00am – 4:00pm

The Lone Pine Lookout function room

The Lone Pine Lookout has one of the best views on the Northern beaches. Situated on the top floor of the Gallipoli building, the function room provides a stunning panoramic northerly view across Narrabeen lake and up the coast towards Palm Beach and out to sea.

The second Friday of the month we have a themed lunch in the Lone Pine function room. Where residents get to socialise with their neighbours and make new friends. Management become the waitstaff and not only serve everyone but it’s a chance for a chat.

The Vivian Bullwinkel Lounge & Cafe

Located right next to the picturesque walking track around Narrabeen Lake (within The Dardanelles section of the village), is the Vivian Bullwinkel Lounge & Café. The lounge features a licensed bar, bistro and café, complete with a billiard table, log fireplace and large outdoor entertaining area with BBQ facilities.

Monday – Friday
10:00am – 2:00pm

The café is available for resident private functions and can accommodate up to 100 guests. For bookings please call the Retirement Living office on 8978 4244.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Are you celebrating a special occasion?

We are happy to provide space and cater for resident’s private events -be it a family get-together, birthday, anniversary or wake.

Private functions can be held in either the Afghan room, for between 20 – 40 people; the Vivian Bullwinkel Lounge, which can cater for up to 100 people; or the Lone Pine Lookout where we can provide 3-course meals for up to 150 guests.
