No, you do not necessarily need experience for or a certificate to apply. To undertake more complex services including medication management and personal care, you will require a Certificate III in Individual Support/Aging Support as a minimum.
Tasks could include providing personal care, supporting daily living activities, offering social and emotional support, assisting with mobility and collaborating with families and the care team

We have an in-depth onboarding process as well as multiple buddy shifts with an experienced care worker to help you learn on the job.
It is a mandatory requirement when working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Clearance or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of this role. It is desirable to have First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain.
