No, experience or certification isn’t required for all roles. Some roles include more advanced tasks like medication management and personal care which will require at least a Certificate III in Individual Support or Aging Support. Please check the “About You” section of the job listing to determine if the specific role requires any certification.

A mandatory requirement for all workers in Aged Care is a valid police clearance (not more than 3 years old) or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance – some roles require both. Ideally, we like carers to also have a First Aid Certificate and CPR training, or a willingness to obtain these. Please check the job listing for the specific requirements for that role.
A carer’s day is diverse and plays a vital role within our Residential Aged Care teams. Carers are essential to delivering person-centred care that supports the physical, social, and emotional wellbeing of residents. They work closely with residents and their families to provide personal care tailored to each individual’s needs, goals, and preferences.
