Hawkesbury Veteran and Family Hub

RSL LifeCare is pleased to announce that we are now able to progress the development for the new Hawkesbury Veteran & Family Hub, and our team is working to finalise the details.  A temporary location will be available first, to provide service coverage for the local veteran community whilst we develop the permanent premise.

This Hub has been made possible thanks to a grant from the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, and in partnership with RSL NSW.  We were notified of the successful Grant Application in December 2024.

Hiring Update – Veteran and Family Hub Team

We are now hiring for an Engagement & Community Officer for the Hawkesbury Veteran and Family Hub.   Please share this news if you know people who would be suitable for this role.

Community consultation is key

We are working closely with the local veteran and family community to ensure our services meet the local veteran community needs.  We held our first Community Consultation meeting on 23 January 2025 at Windsor RSL, and we were pleased to see more than 40 members of the local veteran community in attendance.  Their feedback is outlined on this infographic.
