If you have experience in caring for elderly or vulnerable individuals in the community or group home setting and are looking for your next opportunity, we have the role for you! We are hiring Carers for our 120 bed aged care home in Ballina - Florence Price Gardens.

On offer is ongoing rostered shifts throughout the week including weekends with shifts ranging from Afternoons and Night duties.

What are we looking for:

• A genuine caring nature with demonstrated tolerance, patience and empathy for the elderly in the community
• Demonstrated experience in caring for the elderly and/or vulnerable individuals in a residential/ group home setting and/or community is desirable
• Certificate III in Individual support or similar
• Australian work rights

​It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.

About the role:

• Deliver clinical care in the home environment supporting clients to stay living in their home and connected to their community,
• Embody a person-centred approach, recognising and promoting the individual's unique goals and preferences,
• Ensure thorough clinical assessment, planning, monitoring, and evaluation of care delivered,
• Organise and conduct case conferences and maintain open communications with clients and their families, carers and authorised representatives,
• Effectively prioritise client needs in collaboration with other medical and health professionals as required.

• Current AHPRA registration and Australian Working Rights.
• Current valid driver's license and a licensed, comprehensively insured and road worthy motor vehicle.
