What is the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)?

The Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) is subsidised by the Government to give you the little extra support you need to remain independent and safe in your home and community.

What support can I receive under CHSP?

Under the CHSP, RSL LifeCare at Home offers a wide range of services to help you remain independent at home:

• Social Support
• Nursing
• Domestic Assistance
• Flexible Respite
• Allied Health and Therapy Services
• Personal Care

What is the cost of CHSP?

The services are subsidised by the Australian Government; customers are asked to contribute a fee towards the service.

Where do I start?

Call our friendly and experienced team on 1300 853 146 or submit an enquiry and our team will contact you to walk you through the CHSP process.

1. Call My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 or register online at myagedcare.gov.au. The Regional Assessment Service (RAS) or Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) will meet with you and assess your needs.
2. Receive CHSP approval and your personalised referral code
3. Choose RSL LifeCare Home Care as your provider
4. Commence your individualised service/s and support program
5. Start living the life you choose

What if I need more help at home?

We are here to help! RSL LifeCare Home Care also provides a comprehensive range of services under other programs that may also support your individual needs to remain independent in your home. These include: Home Care Packages, Private Services, Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) Community Nursing program or Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) Veterans Home Care (VHC).
