Helping veterans in the North Coast
RSL LifeCare is pleased to announce that we are well on the way to progress the development for the new North Coast Veteran & Family Hub, and our team is now working to finalise the details. A temporary location will be available first, to provide service coverage for the local veteran community whilst we develop the permanent premise.
This Hub has been made possible thanks to a grant from the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, and in partnership with RSL NSW. We were notified of the successful Grant Application in March 2024.
Hiring Update – Veteran and Family Hub Manager
We are excited to announce a permanent position for a Veteran and Family Hub Manager, based at our Hub in Tweed Heads. This role is key to driving veteran community connection for RSL LifeCare in the local region and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to veterans and their families. If you, or someone you know, are passionate about making a difference in the veteran community and want to join a fantastic veteran-focused organisation, we’d love to hear from you!
For more information about this Veteran & Family Hub Manager role or to apply, please view the job advertisement.
Community consultation is key
We are going to work closely with the local veteran and family community to ensure our services meet the local veteran community needs. We held our first community consultation in November 2024, to share the proposed designs of the hub, the services that would be available, and importantly what is important to local veterans. The key results from the consultation are included below, and the Community Consultation presentation which was shared is available here to view.
We are excited to keep you updated on the progress of the North Coast Veteran & Family Hub.
Your feedback is important to us so that we can deliver the best services possible. Please share your feedback here.
Our efforts are proudly supported by funds from RSL NSW and its sub-Branches, and the services we provide would not be possible without the generous support of our donors. Â
