RSL LifeCare CEO Steps Down

The Board of RSL LifeCare today announced Ms Janet Muir has decided to step down as Chief Executive Officer from January 16, 2026. 

Ms. Muir steered the company through a period of transformation including the changes needed to comply with the new Aged Care Act. 

Ms. Muir was committed to the purpose of RSL LifeCare and leaves a lasting mark on the organisation. The Board thanks Ms. Muir for her leadership during the last three years and wishes her well in her future endeavours. 

To ensure continuity of leadership and operations, the Board has appointed RSL LifeCare Chief Financial Officer, Drew Pearce as Interim Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Pearce has been with RSL LifeCare since 2019 and brings significant industry experience and deep organisational knowledge. 

The Board confirms that there is no impact on services provided to residents, clients, veterans or team members.
