Become a Certified Mental Health First Aider

Our Veteran and Family Hubs are hosting free 2-day Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) courses. The course is designed to help you support former Australian Defence Force (ADF) members and their families.

You’ll learn how to recognise the signs of common mental health problems. You’ll also discover how to respond in a crisis and offer initial help until professional support is available. Topics include depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance use, and suicide risk.

Best of all, the course is practical and easy to follow. It’s run by qualified instructors from Mental Health First Aid Australia.

By the end of the course, you’ll be an Accredited Mental Health First Aider – a valuable skill for anyone in the community.

Whether you’re helping a loved one or supporting someone at work, this course gives you the tools to make a real difference.
