As the Clinical Care Manager at our Aged Care home in Port Macquarie, you will assume clinical leadership responsibility for the delivery of high-quality care and care planning for our 80 residents. You will be accountable for the supervision of nursing and care teams, management of the clinical governance framework and play a key role in the quality improvement cycle for our facility.Â

About You:To be considered for this position, we are seeking people who have:Â
A current AHPRA registrationÂ
A minimum 5 years’ postgraduate clinical experience within health care, aged care, or another relevant environmentÂ
Experience managing compliance with regulatory standardsÂ
Sound understanding of person-centred approaches to clinical care and supportÂ
Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and ability to build meaningful relationshipsÂ
Demonstrated ability to make good decisions which balance commercial outcomes with customer experienceÂ
Experience in motivating teams, managing performance, and delivering on accountabilitiesÂ
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsÂ
Sound financial acumen as evidenced by prior budget management experienceÂ

About You:

• Minimum of a Certificate IV Leisure and Health or Certificate III/IV in Individual
• Support with demonstrated experience in the leisure and health field
• Demonstrated experience in planning and facilitating meaningful leisure, recreation and lifestyle programs for individuals and groups
• Knowledge of best practice approaches within Recreational/Diversional therapy and aged care.
• Ability to undertake leisure-based assessments and care planning
• Practical understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation requirements
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Strong digital skills with the ability to use technology to document programs accurately and to support program development
