About the role:
As a Lifestyle Coordinator at RSL LifeCare, every day you're empowered to make a meaningful difference to people's lives. Within our supportive work environment your skills and compassion are valued. You will have the opportunity to:

• Create a holistic lifestyle program that applies the values of person-centered care
• Tailor activities to meet the resident's cognitive and physical abilities and encourage resident choice and participation in individual and group activities.
• Ensure residents receive appropriate assessments including their life history that will form part of their integrated care plan
• Ensure programs are developed to enrich the lives of individuals and their families through leisure, lifestyle, learning & spiritual activities
• Coordinating outings that allow residents to stay in communication and have meaningful relationships within their chosen community in a safe and healthy way

About you:

• Cert IV in Leisure and Health and/ or relevant tertiary degree
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety
• Ability to assess residents' psychological, social, and emotional needs to identify any barriers to participation in lifestyle activities
• Ability to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families/representatives
• Demonstrated understanding of Aged Care and associated accreditation requirements.

We are offering permanent part time contracts: 10 hours+ per week in Merimbula

As one of our Community Support Workers, you'll support our clients to stay at home for longer!

It's a varied and critical role and you will support with a range of services including:

• Helping with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming)
• Providing respite care (giving their primary carers a break)
• Helping clients stay active and connected in their community
• Following care plans to meet each person's needs
• Working as a team to provide the best support possible

To be successful in this role, our expectations are that you:

• Have a minimum of Cert III Individual Support (unfortunately we cannot consider your application if you do not have this)
• Have a caring nature - be genuinely passionate about helping people
• Have excellent communication skills - have the ability to chat, listen and engage with clients and team members
• Have the ability to work independently - comfortable using technology in your role
• Have Australian working rights & a valid Australian driver's licence
• Access to a reliable, fully insured car
• Have First Aid & CPR (or willing to get this)
• A Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to get one)

The Graduate Nurse Program:
This exciting 8-month program is the perfect launchpad for your nursing career. We're here to guide and mentor you as you make the transition from university to your new role as a Registered Nurse. The program provides you with the hands-on experience you need, along with one-on-one mentorship from seasoned professionals, ensuring you develop the skills to excel in aged care and residential health settings. We have roles available in both permanent full-time and part-time for the March 2026 intake. These roles require you to be available on a rotating roster including AM, PM, Nights and Weekends.

• Demonstrated compassion, empathy and advocacy. Our teams have a passion for what they do and the impact they make to our residents and their families.
• Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written to ensure the best possible resident experience, teamwork and standard of care
• Your ability to work independently and demonstrate sound decision-making
• A completed university nursing degree.
• Current registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
• Applicants must have full Australian working rights at the time of application (i.e., Australian citizen, permanent residency, NZ citizen or an unrestricted visa).
• A commitment to completing the 8-month program.
