The Chapel at RSL ANZAC Village
The Chapel at RSL ANZAC Village serves the community of within the village with Ecumenical Services and Catholic Mass every week.
Chaplain Tony Bradford is also a regular presence in our eight on-site care homes, where he runs church services and Bible study groups for the residents.
Sunday Chapel Service Times:
9:30am – Ecumenical Service
11:00am – Catholic Mass
The Chapel also functions as a historical memorial to all our defence service personnel and to the service given by defence force chaplains in war zones. In particular, the wooden cross mounted at the front of the church is the very same cross that hung in the Ghan Chapel, Taron Kwot military base in Afghanistan. It is a sobering reminder of the contemporary nature of war, and a testimony to the spiritual support present wherever in the world our defence forces find themselves.
The Chapel is located in the heart of the Village on John Edmondson VC Drive, near the entrance to the Gallipoli Centre. Our doors are always open – all are welcome to visit, sit, contemplate and pray. We look forward to welcoming you.
The Chapel also has a YouTube channel.
