Palliative Care

Palliative care is care and support of an individual with serious, chronic conditions from which they will not recover. Our primary concern is the comfort, quality of life and support of your loved one, caregivers and their families. RSL LifeCare At Home develops a Care Plan which helps people make the most of their time. This may include helping the person eat properly and involving a dietitian for healthy living, pain management, symptom control, equipment, nursing and other care and support for the individual and their caregivers. Our carers are well-trained and are sensitive to the needs of both the client and their families and work closely with your GP and specialists to support the whole family’s physical, psychological, emotional, social and spiritual needs during this difficult time.
