Free Creative Wellbeing Session!

The Riverina Veteran & Family Hub are proud to announce the return of Creative Wellbeing Sessions

When? Held every second Monday (Starting 02 June 2025) these classes run between 5pm – 8pm.

Where? The Riverina Veteran & Family Hub is located at 240 Baylis Street, Wagga Wagga, diagonally opposite Myers.

What do I bring? If you have any art, writing or music that you are currently working on, please bring it along! If not, there will be supplies for colouring, drawing, painting and various other mediums for you to try out!

Why should you attend? Being creative can have a profound impact on wellbeing and resilience. Engaging in creative activities like Art, Writing, or Music helps reduce stress and boosts mood by providing an emotional outlet. Through exploring different art mediums/styles, individuals are able to explore new perspectives, gain a sense of accomplishment through their creativity, and encourage problem solving, sharing, and adaptability. Not to mention the social connectivity that creating with other enthusiasts brings!

This program is open to all members of the veteran community including:

• Current and former Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel
• Families, friends, carers, employers, and colleagues of current and former ADF personnel
