Join us for a unique two-day experience designed exclusively for veterans and partners, set in the stunning natural surrounds of Coolendel Camp along the Shoalhaven River.

This weekend getaway blends adventure, skill-building, and connection through a range of outdoor activities including:

• Forge Workshops with Tharwa Valley Forge ⚒️
• 4×4 Driving Adventures with Shoalhaven 4WD Club 🚗
• Camp activities like Kayaking, swimming, bushwalking, fishing (further details provided to attendees) 🛶

Connect with fellow like minded people, build new skills, while enjoying the serenity of nature in a supportive and welcoming environment.

This event is possible thanks to the ClubGRANTS Program and the Shoalhaven Ex-Servo Group

Event Schedule:

📍 Friday Night – Meet and Greet (including info pack) 6th November
Location: Ex Servos, Nowra
Time: From 5:30 PM

📍 Saturday
Location: Coolendel Camp & Shoalhaven Region

• Forge Workshop (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM) – 8 participants
• 4×4 Driving for non Forging participants with Shoalhaven 4WD Club (details to come)
• Camp activities – Available throughout the day

📍 Sunday

• Continued Forge Workshop (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM) – 8 participants
• Free time to explore, relax, and connect for remaining campers (please note, 4WD will only be available on the Saturday)

(One day of forging per person)

Accommodation at Coolendel Camp

Stay in the rustic Bunkhouse, which sleeps up to 16 people across two bedrooms:

• Room 1: 5 bunk beds (sleeps 10)
• Room 2: 2 bunk beds + 1 king-size bed (sleeps 6)
• Pending registrations, campsites may become available

(Bunks require bedding, information pack provided)

Enjoy a spacious living area with a cosy potbelly stove, a large kitchen set up for group catering, and a nearby camping bathroom with hot showers. Gather around the large BBQ and outdoor fire pit for connection under the stars in this beautiful bush location.

Shoalhaven VFH staff will be present to support the campers and provide meals across both days.

This is STRICTLY a no alcohol or drugs event.

To keep everyone safe and in consideration of liability, we must enforce a substance free zone.

If you have substances with you, you will be asked to handover to RSL LifeCare staff until the end of the event or destroy.

If you are under the influence, you may be asked to leave or be removed from group activities.

*As sleeping arrangements is bunk style, men, women and other will be sharing the space together. Please be respectful of others.
