Bardia Barracks: Homes for Heroes Outreach

The Homes for Heroes Program provides specialist housing support for veterans who may be experiencing housing stress, homelessness, or difficulty navigating housing options. The team works alongside clients to identify practical solutions and connect them with the services they need to achieve safe and sustainable housing outcomes.

Support may include:

• Housing advice and guidance
• Applications and referrals
• Advocacy with housing providers and agencies
• Connections to emergency accommodation
• Support accessing social and affordable housing
• Referrals to financial, wellbeing and community support services

A Specialist Case Manager visits the Bardia Barracks Veteran & Family Hub fortnightly, providing free and confidential support to current and former serving ADF members and their families.
