Hawkesbury Veteran and Family Hub – Community Consultation

The Hawkesbury Veteran and Family Hub has been made possible thanks to a grant from the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, and in partnership with RSL NSW. We were notified of the successful Grant Application in December 2024.

The temporary hub is now open, and is located at Lower Ground Floor, 36 Argyle Street, South Windsor.

This Hub will provide service coverage for the local veteran community whilst we develop the permanent premise.

Community consultation is key to understand how to develop our services

We are working closely with the local veteran and family community to ensure our services meet the local veteran community needs. We held our latest Community Consultation on Thursday 22 May 2025 at the Richmond RSL sub-Branch, where approximately 60 members of the local community attended. At the consultation, we shared the Hawkesbury Veteran and Family Hub floor plans and designs for the new Hub, and also to share the location of the permanent Hub, which will be at Richmond Courthouse, 288 Windsor St, Richmond NSW 2753.

We held our first Community Consultation meeting on 23 January 2025 at Windsor RSL, and we were pleased to see more than 40 members of the local veteran community in attendance.  Their feedback is outlined on this infographic.
