RSL LifeCare welcomes David van Aanholt to the Board

RSL LifeCare is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr David van Aanholt as an Independent Non-Executive Director to the RSL LifeCare Board, effective October 2025. 

With more than 30 years of experience in the property industry, David brings deep expertise across property, asset, development and funds management, areas that are integral to the organisation’s ongoing growth and sustainability. 

Prior to establishing his own property investment and advisory group in 2009 and taking on several Board roles as a Non-Executive Director, David was the Chief Executive Officer (Asia Pacific) of Goodman Group, where he was responsible for the company’s operations across Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore. He worked with Goodman for more than a decade, following senior roles as Fund Manager at Paladin Australia Limited and Associate Director at CDH Properties (acquired by KPMG). 

David holds a Bachelor of Business (Land Economy), a Post Graduate Diploma in Management, and a Master of Business Administration, and is a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute. He currently serves as Chairman and Board Member of several companies and is also a Councillor at the University of New England. 

His practical experience in business strategy, change management and high-level governance will be a significant asset as RSL LifeCare continues to invest in and manage property-based infrastructure that supports veterans and seniors across NSW and ACT.
