We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Workforce Scheduler to join our team with the Home Care business unit. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and effective rostering of client services across our home care network. You will play a key part in delivering personalised, integrated, and high-quality care by aligning staff skills with client needs and preferences.
This is a Full-Time position: Monday to Friday - 1000-1800 - Flexible base location.
In your new role, you will:- Manage accurate and timely rostering of services to meet client needs and organisational standards
- Act as the first point of contact for care staff regarding rostering requirements
- Ensure compliance with aged care standards, funding requirements, WHS, and enterprise agreements
- Collaborate with clients, their support networks, and care coordinators to uphold client choice and dignity
- Monitor KPIs related to travel time, missed services, and labour hire
- Provide training and support on rostering systems and processes
- Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives
Our expectations are you will have:
- Experience with rostering systems and database management - we use AlayCare
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems
- Knowledge of EBAs, penalty rates, and scheduling across multiple sites
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to person-centred care and respect for diversity
- An empathetic nature and have patience, particularly when dealing with our senior clients

We're looking for an experienced Regional Clinical Educator to support our Northern Region, covering Newcastle, Ballina, Byron Bay, Port Macquarie, Hawks Nest, and Dungog. This pivotal role sits within our Clinical Governance Team and is responsible for strengthening the capability and confidence of our clinical and care workforce.
You'll design, deliver, and evaluate high‑quality education programs-ranging from induction to ongoing professional development-ensuring our teams provide safe, evidence‑based, person‑centred care across our residential services.Base location is flexible, with a minimum of three days per week onsite within the region.
What you will be doing:- Provide strong clinical leadership that enhances systems, processes, and care practices to improve person‑centred outcomes.

About You:
- Current Registered Nurse registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a clinical education role.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and their application in clinical settings.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical teaching, facilitation, competency assessment, and coaching.
- Ability to travel across RSL LifeCare Residential and Home Care sites as required.
- Skilled in mentoring, supervising clinical practice, and supporting team development.
- Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organised, with excellent time‑management skills.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and able to build meaningful connections with staff and residents.
- Confident in making balanced decisions that consider customer experience, risk, and operational needs.
- Experience leading teams, supporting wellbeing, and driving performance.

About You:
- A bachelor's degree in nursing, health, quality management or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years' experience in quality management within health or aged care.
- The ability to travel interstate when required.
- Strong relationship‑building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- High‑level interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to support and guide managers through change.
- Demonstrated experience in quality management, regulatory compliance and team development.

As a Community Support Worker, you'll help people stay safe and comfortable at home by:- Helping with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming)
- Providing respite care (giving our clients Carers a break)
- Helping clients stay active and connected in their community
- Following care plans to meet each person's needs
- Working as a team to provide the best support possible
To succeed in this role, our expectations are that you will:
- Certificate in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services - at this moment in time, we're sorry but we can't consider you if you don't have one of these qualifications
- Have a caring nature - be genuinely passionate about helping people
- Have excellent communication skills - you'll be to chat, engage and interact with clients and your colleagues
- Australian working rights
- A valid Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable, fully insured car
- A Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to get one)
- First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to get one)
