🧠 Free Mental Health First Aid Course
Become a Certified Mental Health First Aider

Join us for a free 2-day Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course. This course will help you support former Australian Defence Force (ADF) members and their families.

You’ll learn how to recognise the signs of common mental health problems. You’ll also discover how to respond in a crisis and offer initial help until professional support is available. Topics include depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance use, and suicide risk.

This course is run by qualified instructors from Mental Health First Aid Australia.

By the end of the course, you’ll be an Accredited Mental Health First Aider—a valuable skill for anyone in the community.

This course is only available to members of the veteran community, including:
✅ Former ADF personnel
✅ Family members, partners, and carers

Whether you’re helping a loved one or supporting someone at work, this course gives you the tools to make a real difference.

Why to enrol in this course

Gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to support veterans experiencing mental health problems or crises through free Mental Health First Aid training.

Course participants learn about the signs and symptoms of common mental health problems in adults, how to recognise and respond to an emerging or worsening mental health problem and the treatments and supports available.
