• Carry out reactive and planned preventive maintenance across the facility.
• Perform general repairs including patching, painting, replacing globes, and basic building maintenance.
• Responsible for gardening and grounds upkeep to maintain a welcoming and safe environment.
• Work alongside contractors, ensuring all work meets compliance standards.
• Ensure all documentation, system processes, and paperwork are completed accurately.
• Support best practice initiatives to maintain homes to the highest standard.

About you:

• Previous experience in maintenance and gardening (preferred).

Fixed Term Contract - 12 months

We are seeking a Billing & Funding Officer to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this position, you will ensure efficient and accurate billing for our residential care clients and assist with government funding by reconciling funds, generating reports, and resolving customer queries across RSL LifeCare's facilities.

Our expectations are you will:

• Accurately process resident accounts, manage resident movements across Clinical, Finance, and Government funding systems, and generate monthly invoices and billing statements on time
• Investigate and resolve rejected funding requests, process necessary billing adjustments, and conduct funding reconciliations to reclaim any lost funds
• Complete monthly review letter filings, prepare required government forms, and provide monthly and year-end compliance reports
• Liaise with residents and families regarding any billing and funding queries

About You:

• Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, especially use of formulas
• Strong numerical and computer literacy, complemented by effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proven problem-solving abilities in a similar role

As a Recreation and Engagement Assistant, you will work closely with the Recreation and Engagement Coordinator to plan, deliver and evaluate personalised leisure and lifestyle programs for residents. These programs include one-to-one activities, group sessions, special events and culturally tailored experiences. About you

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or equivalent) or Certificate III in Individual Support with demonstrated experience in the leisure and health field or relevant experience in leisure and health service delivery.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage respectfully
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills, including English proficiency
• Competent computer skills, including basic documentation and use of digital tools

What you will be doing:

• Provide expert leadership for cleaning and laundry services across all RSL LifeCare sites, supporting Facility Managers and teams to deliver consistent, high‑quality, and cost‑effective outcomes.
• Build a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement while partnering with key stakeholders to enhance resident wellbeing.
• Develop, implement, and maintain organisation‑wide cleaning and laundry programs, procedures, workflows, and training resources that support operational excellence.
• Lead strategic improvement initiatives by identifying and introducing new technologies, equipment, and service models that lift quality, efficiency, and resident experience.
• Oversee governance by establishing and maintaining policies, procedures, and standards that meet regulatory, infection control, and organisational requirements.

About You:

• Experience managing cleaning, environmental services, or support services across multiple sites or a large operational portfolio.
• Strong capability in developing and implementing operational standards, procedures, and service frameworks.
• Proven contract and supplier management experience, including KPI monitoring and performance oversight.
• The ability to analyse service performance and drive improvements across diverse locations.
• A collaborative approach, working effectively with operational leaders to enhance service outcomes.
