Fixed Term Contract - 12 months
We are seeking a Billing & Funding Officer to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this position, you will ensure efficient and accurate billing for our residential care clients and assist with government funding by reconciling funds, generating reports, and resolving customer queries across RSL LifeCare's facilities.
Our expectations are you will:- Accurately process resident accounts, manage resident movements across Clinical, Finance, and Government funding systems, and generate monthly invoices and billing statements on time
- Investigate and resolve rejected funding requests, process necessary billing adjustments, and conduct funding reconciliations to reclaim any lost funds
- Complete monthly review letter filings, prepare required government forms, and provide monthly and year-end compliance reports
- Liaise with residents and families regarding any billing and funding queries
About You:
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, especially use of formulas
- Strong numerical and computer literacy, complemented by effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proven problem-solving abilities in a similar role

- Oversee governance by establishing and maintaining policies, procedures, and standards that meet regulatory, infection control, and organisational requirements.
About You:
- Experience managing cleaning, environmental services, or support services across multiple sites or a large operational portfolio.
- Strong capability in developing and implementing operational standards, procedures, and service frameworks.
- Proven contract and supplier management experience, including KPI monitoring and performance oversight.
