    We are looking for a full-time Maintenance Officer to join our maintenance team at our ANZAC Village, Narrabeen
    This role will be to support and manage the team with labouring duties associated with general maintenance activities, to ensure the aged care home is always looking and operating at its very best.

    Responsibilities Include

    • Work as part of a dynamic team to provide reactive and planned preventative maintenance
    • Work to established best practise and maintain homes to the highest standard
    • Working in a Busy team environment with no day the same
    • Working alongside contractors where relevant, ensuring all work carried out to compliance requirements
    • Carrying out General maintenance and repairs; this may include patching & painting, replacing globes and all aspects of basic building maintenance
    • Ensuring all paperwork, documentation and system processes are adhered to

    Preferred Attributes

    • Previous experience in a maintenance role, aged care preferable but not necessary
    • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail & excellent communication skills
    • A current NSW driver's license
    • Computer skills
    • Ability to interact with the elderly residents on a day to day basis

    What You'll Do

    In this hands-on leadership role, you will:

    • Oversee the daily operations of the café, ensuring smooth service from open to close
    • Lead a small team, setting high standards for customer care and food presentation
    • Develop the café offering to suit the needs and tastes of our residents and visitors
    • Manage food orders, costs, and stock rotation, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
    • Coordinate functions and special events within the village in collaboration with the Village Manager
    • Onboard and train new staff, promoting a culture of service excellence
    • Work with the Village Manager to deliver marketing and event plans that drive café patronage
    • Foster a warm, inclusive, and community-oriented café environment

    What You Bring

    • Experience as a Café Manager or in a similar hospitality leadership role
    • Knowledge of Food Handling Legislation, including HACCP requirements
    • A passion for customer service and building relationships with regular patrons
    • A Diploma in Hospitality Management (preferred but not essential)
    • General computer literacy and confident communication skills
    • A current Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
    • Availability to work Wednesday to Sunday, as per the hours above
    • A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work with minimal supervision

    Are you a reliable, practical person who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in a clean and well-maintained environment? We're seeking a dedicated Bin Maintenance & Gardening Assistant to join our village team at Tea Gardens Grange.

    This hands-on role is essential to the smooth running of our community. You'll be responsible for the weekly bin regime across the village, along with supporting the upkeep of the gardens and grounds.

    About the Role

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Coordinating the movement of over 100 bins for council collection each week
    • Driving a ute with trailer around the village
    • Cleaning and disinfecting bins to maintain hygiene standards
    • Returning bins to their respective locations post-collection
    • Assisting with basic gardening and grounds maintenance tasks as needed

    This role requires physical fitness, strong attention to detail, and a sense of ownership over your duties. It's a big job - but a vital one - and you'll be supported by a knowledgeable, friendly team.

    What You'll Need

    • A positive attitude and willingness to learn (full training provided)
    • Ability to work independently and reliably
    • Understanding of safe manual handling and WHS practices
    • A valid Driver's Licence (essential for operating the ute and trailer)
    • General computer skills
    • National Police Check / NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain)
