We are seeking an individual to join our team as a Claims Advisor based out of our Riverina Veteran & Family Hub in Wagga Wagga. In this role, you will provide guidance and support to current and former Defence personnel and their families, navigating various claims, including pensions and benefits.
Your role will involve assisting them throughout the application process with relevant government departments, all with the ultimate goal of achieving the best possible outcomes.
Who are you:- Compensation Advocate (or working towards)
- Understanding of defence-related illnesses and conditions
- Ability to establish and build meaningful relationships internally and externally
- Highly developed communication skills and the ability to prioritise, manage and problem solve procedures

Key Responsibilities:- Perform daily cleaning tasks across communal areas, resident facilities, and staff areas: sweeping, mopping, external power washing etc
- Ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained
- Replenish supplies and report any maintenance issues
- Follow health and safety procedures, including infection control standards
A bit about you:
- Previous cleaning experience preferred, ideally in aged care, healthcare, or hospitality

We are expanding and looking for a skilled and service-focused IT Service Desk Officer to join our dedicated Information Technology team. In this role, you will provide frontline support to users across the organisation, playing a key part in keeping our systems running efficiently and supporting our staff to deliver exceptional care and services.
As an IT Service Desk Officer, you will:- Be the first point of contact for software and hardware support across our organisation
- Respond to user issues and troubleshoot problems including desktops, printers, networks, and RDS.
- Assist with application support, IT system installations, upgrades, and configurations
- Manage help desk tickets in line with ITIL principles using our ITSM platform
- Support staff with ERP and application issues (including LeeCare), telephony, Office365, and SharePoint
- Assist in maintaining operational policies, knowledgebases, and documentation
- Contribute to a collaborative, solution-oriented team environment
A bit about you: You're a proactive and technically skilled IT professional who enjoys solving problems and helping others. Our expectations are you will bring:
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach
- Technical knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server environments
- Experience supporting PCs, peripherals, mobile devices, and conferencing tools
- Familiarity with Office 365 and business application administration
- A collaborative, team-focused attitude and a commitment to quality and service excellence
- Diploma/Degree educated or 2/3 years' experience in a distributed help desk environment
- Experience with ERP systems and SharePoint, and knowledge of ITSM tools and best practices is an advantage

About You:
We are excited to hear from you about this role! We are looking out for:- A minimum of 12 months post graduate experience as a practicing clinician in either a hospital or Aged Care setting.
- Full AHPRA accreditation with unconditional provisions.
- Your demonstrated compassion, empathy and advocacy. Our teams have a passion for what they do and the impact they make to our residents and their families.
- Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written to ensure the best possible resident experience, teamwork and standard of care.
- Your ability to work independently and demonstrate sound decision-making skills.
- Strong attention to detail, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and optimizing funding outcomes.

Your new role:
we have a Permanent Care Coordinator position available in our HomeCare team in Lyneham.
- You will be a key team member helping to deliver a variety of services to meet our client's unique circumstances and needs ranging from entry level through to complex health needs.
- With a large client base, you will oversee a portfolio of clients, develop and manage care plans, as well as create services and supports which are unique to individuals.
- Administratively, you will be responsible for a range of tasks such as drafting budgets, monitoring financial transactions, actioning changes in care, undertaking general marketing, as well as working with staff to deliver exceptional services.
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrated experienced in home care packaging (HCP), CHSP, DVA, case management, assessment, care planning and service coordination
- Current CPR Certificate
- Solid understanding of client centred, community-based care service delivery and associated quality standards
- Experience working with and adhering to budgets
- Ability to liaise with and promote our services to external providers
- Ability to create and maintain interpersonal relationships with staff
- Current drivers' license with own fully insured vehicle
- Proof of Covid-19 vaccination status
