At RSL LifeCare, we work with veterans to help them find their new role and new career after Defence. One of the most rewarding parts of our work is seeing the long-term success of our clients who we help. Recently, we caught up with Scott, a former participant of the #RSLEmploymentProgram, who is now thriving in his new role in construction.

Scott joined the RSL Employment Program last year and demonstrated a proactive and collaborative approach with his employment consultant. Through the support of the RSL Employment Program, delivered in partnership in New South Wales by RSL LifeCare and RSL Queensland, Scott was connected with Jack Turner from Veterans in Construction—an employer committed to supporting veterans in meaningful employment.

Thanks to this connection, Scott began working with Veterans in Construction and has since been placed with Binah—a major construction firm operating across NSW and QLD, currently working on the Shell Cove Marina precinct.
