    • General gardening/grounds maintenance knowledge to include mowing, hedging, trimming, irrigation and bin maintenance.
    • High level of interaction with residents, management, team members, and external contractors.
    • Maintenance of homes, Clubhouse, and pool within the retirement village.
    • Implementing preventative and corrective maintenance schedules.
    • Monitoring plant and equipment.
    • Setting up rooms and equipment.
    • Empathy with seniors and excellent communication skills

    About You:
    We are excited to hear from you about this role! We are looking out for:
    • Great attitude and willing to learn from a knowledgeable team;
    • Suitable general maintenance knowledge and experience, relevant trade qualification preferred
    • Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks including safe and proper use of tools and equipment
    • Current Manual Driver's License
    • Ability to work within a small team or autonomously
    • Empathy with seniors and excellent communication skills
    • Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain and attend to callouts via pager system
    • Demonstrated knowledge of WHS practices
    • General Computer skills and ability to record necessary information accurately
    • Good time management skills
