Deposit and Settle – Terms & Conditions

Applicable from 20 January to 30 April 2025 

Eligibility 

  • The offer applies to deposits received between 20 January 2025 and 30 April 2025, inclusive (Promotion Period) on eligible RSL LifeCare Retirement Living Units.
  • The offer is limited to the first 30 deposits received that meet all other criteria.    The promotion is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. 
  • Employees of RSL LifeCare and their immediate families are not eligible. 

Cashback Value 

  • Receive $10,000 cashback upon successful settlement and completion of the 90-day settling-in period for an eligible RSL LifeCare Retirement Living Unit. 

Deposit Requirement 

  • A minimum deposit of $5,000 is required prior to 30 April 2025 to be included in the promotion. The date that the minimum $5,000 is received is the Deposit Date. 

Settlement Deadline 

  • Settlement must be completed within 60 calendar days from the date the $5,000 deposit is received. 
  • Should the property fail to settle within 60 calendar days from the Deposit Date, due to a delay by the purchaser or their representative, the customer will be ineligible for the cashback offer.
  • Should the property fail to settle within 60 calendar days from the Deposit Date due to a delay caused by RSL LifeCare, the customer will remain eligible for the cashback offer, providing all other eligibility criteria are met. 

Eligible Retirement Living Units 

  • For the purpose of the promotion, eligible Retirement Living Units are: 
    • All available properties within the Lakes of Cherrybrook and Cherrybrook Gardens Communities.
    • All available properties within the Toukley Community.
    • You will have to share any capital gains received with the operator of this village. 
    • You will have to pay a departure fee when you leave this village, which will impact on the capital gains received when leaving the village. 

Cashback Details 

  • The cashback amount is $10,000 AUD (including GST, if applicable).  
    Cashback will be paid directly to the customer’s nominated account via bank transfer, cheque or other agreed method after settlement and successful completion of the subsequent 90-day settling-in period. 

Refundable Deposit 

  • If the agreement is terminated by the customer or RSL LifeCare for any reason prior to settlement or during the 90-day settling in period, the customer will no longer receive the cashback.  
  • Any deposit amount paid to RSL LifeCare remains fully refundable in accordance with law. 

Non-Transferable 

  • The cashback offer is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed as a credit, discount, or exchanged for cash other than the stated payment method. 

Exclusions 

  • This offer cannot be combined with any other promotions, discounts, or offers unless explicitly agreed to by RSL LifeCare in writing.   
  • The cashback does not apply to co-located Aged Care facilities.

Changes to the Offer 

  • RSL Life Care reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel this promotion at any time without prior notice.
