Sangeeta was appointed to the Board in December 2021.
Sangeeta is an experienced director and financial services executive with an extensive background in investment banking, capital markets, and corporate turnarounds including technology led transformation. She has held senior positions in the health services, financial services and technology sectors with large Australian and international companies, including Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and The Commonwealth Bank of Australia. She also co-founded an award winning fintech in the wealth and retirement sector.
Sangeeta is President of Women in Banking and Finance and a director of Mercer Investments Australia, SW Accountants and Advisors, and Osara Health.
As Chair, Sangeeta is an ex-officio member of all Board Committees. She was previously Interim Chair of the Board from May 2022 to October 2022.

Cathy joined the Board in March 2020.
Cathy is Managing Director of Qualityworks Pty Ltd, which provides quality strategic and clinical governance advice across human service sectors. She is also an Adjunct Professor at James Cook University and a board facilitator with the Australasian Institute of Clinical Governance.
Cathy is a member of the Commonwealth Aged Care Sector Quality Reference Group, Expert Advisory Panel for the new Aged Care Act and the Clinical Governance Advisory Committee for the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Healthcare. Cathy was formerly a director of Uniting (Vic & Tas) and an external advisor on Board Quality Committees for The Alfred, Peter Mac and Western Health.
Cathy is Chair of the Quality, Safety & People Committee and a member of the Governance, Nominations & Remuneration Committee.

Sam is a board director with over 20 years’ experience in senior accounting, leadership and management roles. This includes Interim CEO at Arthritis NSW, Director Corporate Services at the Agency for Clinical Innovation (NSW Health), Deputy CEO at Sydney North Shore and Beaches Medicare Local, and Chief Accountant at Lexmark International (Australia).
Sam is a director of Sydney North Health Network, the National Affordable Housing Group and the Australian Consumers Association (CHOICE). She also chairs the Finance, Audit & Risk Committees of these organisations.
Sam is Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee and a member of the Property, Projects & Investment Committee.
Samantha Challinor
Sam is a board director with over 20 years’ experience in senior accounting, leadership and management roles.
Andrew was appointed to the Board in October 2016.
Andrew is a veteran and former CEO of Sydney Legacy. He is the Industry Professor Veterans and Their Families at Australian Catholic University and a member of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, Veteran Aged Care Task Force.
Andrew is a former member of the Prime Minister’s Advisory Council on Ex-Service Matters and a former member of the Commonwealth Government’s National Aged Care Advisory Council.
Andrew is Chair of the Joint Working Committee (with RSL NSW) and is a member of the Governance, Nominations & Remuneration Committee and Quality, Safety & People Committee. He was also a previous Chairman of the Board (August 2017-July 2021).
Andrew Condon CSC
Andrew is a veteran and former CEO of Sydney Legacy. He is the Industry Professor Veterans and Their Families at Australian Catholic University and a member of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, Veteran Aged Care Task Force.
Liz was appointed to the Board in September 2023.
Liz has a distinguished military service with 31 years in the Australian Army and was the first woman in its history to be promoted to the rank of Major General.
Following her military career, Liz held various senior roles in the Australian public service, including in the Commonwealth Departments of Health and Home Affairs (then Immigration & Citizenship). She also served as a former Secretary of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, a past President of the Repatriation Commission and chair of the Military Rehabilitation & Compensation Commission.
Liz is a member of the Property, Projects & Investment Committee and the Quality, Safety & People Committee.
Elizabeth Cosson AM CSC

Hugh joined the Board in July 2022.
Hugh is an experienced executive and director, with over 20 years of experience across healthcare, transport and utilities with a leading global infrastructure fund manager. He is a former director of national aged care and retirement village operators in Australia and New Zealand.
Hugh is a member of the Property, Projects & Investment Committee.

Kris was appointed to the Board in October 2016.
Kris has over 30 years’ experience in the tertiary, primary, community, disability and aged care sectors in executive leadership roles, including a period of clinical practice as a former registered nurse and midwife.
Kris is Co-founder and Executive Director of Travellarks Pty Ltd. She previously served as a director of Northern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust and chair of Community Advisory Committee and chair of the Community Engagement Committee, Metropolitan Memorial Parks.
Kris is Interim Chair of the Governance, Nominations & Remuneration Committee and a member of the Quality, Safety & People Committee.
Kris Hume
Kris has over 30 years’ experience in the tertiary, primary, community, disability and aged care sectors in executive leadership roles, including a period of clinical practice as a former registered nurse and midwife.

David is an experienced senior executive with an extensive background in strategy, operations and technology. David is currently the CEO and a Director of Tour de Cure, a leading Australian charity with the purpose to cure cancer and change lives. From 2021 until 2024, he was the CEO for Workplace Giving Australia, which operates at the intersect of corporate philanthropy, workforce philanthropy and charities. Prior to this time, David was a senior executive with Accenture globally and most recently as the CEO for Accenture’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice in Asia, Pacific, Middle East and Africa. David previously practiced as a corporate and finance lawyer.
David is a director of Tour de Cure and chair of its Audit & Risk Committee, and for The Consortium Clemenger.
