What are the deferred management fees (departure fees)?
When you move into a retirement living unit in Bullecourt Village, the payment you make upon entry is non-refundable. The DMF is calculated on the entry purchase price at 2.5% per annum for the first 8 years. This amount contributes to the ongoing costs of managing the village.

Once I have decided on the purchase of a unit, how long do I have to pay?
We prefer settlement within 3 months of the deposit. Your deposit is fully refundable up until settlement, at any time should you not choose to proceed. In your best interests, we strongly recommend that you seek independent financial and legal advice as part of your research.

You can access a variety of additional support with Home Care services and you may be eligible for additional funding for these. Call 1300 306 885 or ask the Village Manager for more information. If you or your partner require more sustained medical support, transfer to the on-site Residential Aged Care home, Mona Tait Gardens, may also be possible (however this is subject to vacancy). Our Village Manager can put you in touch with the right people who can help you understand how to apply for and access these services.
