Wellbeing Services Manager

We are seeking a Wellbeing Services Manager to join our team. This pivotal role involves supporting veterans (current and former serving ADF personnel) and their families by addressing their holistic wellbeing needs. This position involves working under the guidance of the Head of Wellbeing Services and contributes to operational planning and governance of the wellbeing Team. The manager is key to maintaining high standards in client relations, engagement, risk management, and quality assurance.
In this role, you will aid in the implementation of the strategic goals and objectives of Veteran Services, emphasising continuous improvement in service delivery and compliance. This position offers the chance to make a substantial impact on the lives of veterans and their families by ensuring they receive comprehensive support tailored to foster sustainable wellbeing.
Who are you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Community Services related fields.
- 3+ years of managerial experience in the sector, including financial management.
- Proficiency or willingness to learn CRM usage, reporting, and program report preparation.
- Strong understanding of the employment landscape and the ESO Community.
- Skilled in building internal and external relationships, with excellent communication.
- High-level planning, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in not-for-profit organisations, with a background in wellbeing support, including work with Australian Defence Forces and Department of Veteran Affairs, and knowledge of charitable work will be highly advantageous.
It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid RSL LifeCare Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.
