Veteran Wellbeing Centre Manager

We’re looking for a Wellbeing Centre Manager to lead our new Centre in Wyong, Central Coast. This pivotal role within our senior management team entails overseeing the direction, services, and outcomes of the Centre. You’ll be responsible for both strategic planning and day-to-day operations, ensuring high level customer-centered care for veterans and their families.

In this role, you’ll be involved in all aspects of operational planning and governance. Collaborating closely with the Head of Veteran Wellbeing Centres, you will uphold high standards in people management, customer and community relations, as well as risk and quality management.

Who are you:

  • Graduate Diploma in Management or relevant equivalent experience.
  • A sound understanding of the Defence, ESO and Veteran culture/landscape and ability to navigate through the related agencies and departments.
  • Senior management experience in a related setting and sound experience in financial management and performance.
  • Highly developed leadership and influence skills to implement changes and gain buy in from staff and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to foster high quality relationships with managers and staff, working in partnership with stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Well-developed people management skills including the ability to lead and resolve performance management issues in a timely manner.
  • Strategic planning capabilities including strong conceptual, strategic thinking and a willingness to listen and consider other perspectives.

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid RSL LifeCare Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.
