About your new role…

We are seeking a People & Culture Compliance Lead to join our People & Culture team located at St Leonards. In this role, you will act as the subject matter expert, overseeing processes such as Police background checks, NDIS checks, Key Personnel checks, and other compliance requirements in line with Australian regulations. You will ensure compliance with relevant standards and procedures and lead compliance-related projects, contributing significantly to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

Who are you?

  • Demonstrated experience in a compliance or auditing role
  • Strong attention to detail, a methodical approach, focus on process and governance, and strong analytical skills.
  • Proven experience effectively communicating with senior leadership through accurate and insightful reporting.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in utilising Microsoft Office Suite, Workday (HRIS), and other relevant compliance software.
  • Experienced in making decisions that effectively balance commercial objectives with stakeholder needs.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and proactively addressing areas of potential risk.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, with strong time management skills.

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid RSL LifeCare Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.
