Payroll Specialist

RSL LifeCare are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join us on a 12 Month FTC. As our new Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for end-to-end Payroll as well as administration duties, using our chris21 Payroll system.

This position will focus on processing a fortnightly payroll and providing accurate, timely and efficient payroll services to RSL LifeCare employees.

You will also be involved in:

  • Processing fortnightly payroll and associated activities including salary disbursements.
  • Leave management.
  • Processing new starters and terminations.
  • Maintaining employee records.
  • Responding to payroll queries.

Who are you:

  • A minimum of 3 years payroll experience
  • Demonstrated competence in interpretation of ichris/chris21 Payroll
  • Experience in using roster packages such as UKG will be advantageous
  • Understanding of Legislative requirements
  • Administrative skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks to meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in high level quality and customer focused services

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid RSL LifeCare Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.
