Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide announced

RSL LifeCare is committed to supporting veterans and their families. We welcome any action by the Federal Government to tackle veteran suicide and will contribute however we can to a Royal Commission. The implementation of existing and future recommendations of any veteran-related inquiry should also be expedited as a matter of urgency.

RSL LifeCare Veteran Services provides wellbeing, employment, financial, disaster, and housing assistance, and Department of Veterans’ Affairs claims support to all veterans and their families. Since 2019, RSL LifeCare and its partner charity RSL NSW has secured a Veteran Wellbeing Centre for Nowra, placed a Liaison Officer at the National Centre for Veterans’ Healthcare at Concord, and established the RSL Employment Program in New South Wales to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for veterans.
