Risk & Audit Manager

Located at RSL Life Care’s Sydney HQ – Hybrid-working supported

Permanent Risk & Audit Manager – would suit Risk Analysts looking to step up

Eligible for ‘not for profit’ salary packaging – up to $15,900 a year

Opportunity:

As our new Risk & Audit Manager you’ll report to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and be involved in driving the operational and administrative elements of risk at RSL LifeCare. You’ll support the Chief Risk Officer as they handle the strategic elements of Enterprise Risk Management, by being responsible for:

  • Developing and managing the application of the Organisational Risk Management framework across all business areas.
  • Facilitating the internal elements of internal audits, allowing our external auditors to operate efficiently.
  • Managing the risk reporting register across the organisation.
  • Organising and participating in the Executive Risk Committee
  • Supporting and coordinating reporting to the Risk and Audit Committee and Board of Directors.
  • Providing robust risk management advice and guidance across internal business stakeholders.
  • Collecting, analysing, and reporting on a range of quarterly metrics and Key Risk Indicators.
  • Developing and evolving appropriate risk tools and processes, to support risk assessments.

We need you to have:

  • Demonstrable experience in a risk management and/or audit related role, possibly as a Risk Analyst or auditor looking to progress.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a Risk Management or related field would be advantageous (though not essential).
  • Experience conducting and managing risk assessments.
  • Exposure to internal audit or controls testing/assurance in previous roles.
  • Ability to engage with and challenge key business stakeholders regarding Risk best practice.
  • Strong data analysis and report writing skills.
