    Description

RSL LifeCare has supported veterans, seniors, and their families for 100+ years. As a values-driven not-for-profit aged care provider, we are committed to building proud communities where people live their best lives-whether in our homes or through home care support.

RSL LifeCare is seeking an experienced or emerging Facility Manager to lead our 66-bed residential aged care home, Hugh Cunningham Gardens in Tura Beach. This opportunity has arisen following an internal move by the current manager into a different division of the business.

Tura Beach is a suburb of Merimbula, one of the main towns located on New South Wales' Sapphire Coast. If you're looking for a piece of paradise, or perhaps a "sea change" away from the bigger cities then we'd love to hear from you. We offer relocation assistance and a supportive onboarding experience to set you up for success.

As Facility Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of operational, clinical, and team performance:

    • Lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
    • Manage compliance, accreditation, and resident safety
    • Drive financial and workforce performance aligned with Aged Care Standards
    • Build a positive, engaged culture across the home
    • Foster continuous improvement and service excellence.

    Our expectation is that you:

    • Are an experienced Facility Manager seeking a meaningful role with a not-for-profit provider, or
    • Are a Registered Nurse with strong clinical leadership experience, ready to step into your first permanent Facility Manager position
    • Have a minimum 5 years' clinical experience (2 years+ in leadership)
    • Are AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
    • Have a solid understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, funding, and accreditation
    • Have a genuine passion for resident wellbeing, quality improvement, and people development

RSL LifeCare offer a range of benefits:

    • Relocation support for eligible candidates
    • Not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900/year, plus meal and entertainment $2,650
    • Retail and lifestyle discounts via Maxxia Rewards
    • Fitness Passport
    • 17.5% leave loading on annual leave

    Our commitment to diversity:
We are proud to stand for our unique values: Do the Right Thing, Aim Higher, Care from the Heart, and Act as One team.

We welcome and encourage applications from people across our diverse community, especially from Veterans, current serving ADF personnel, their families and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants. We believe everyone has the right to feel safe, respected, valued and heard regardless of their gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity or disability.

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
