Finance Officer

As our new Finance Officer, you will be responsible for efficient and accurate final payment calculation of discharged residents from both the Retirement Living and Residential Aged Care facilities we own and operate.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create and update customer records in the finance system.
- Ensuring all transactions are processed in an accurate and timely manner in line with relevant policies, procedures, and delegations of authority.
- Manages customer relations for all allocated customers, including resolving customer enquiries and producing final statements.
- Ensure confidential information is protected, given the privileged access that will often be given to holders of this position.
What you need to have to succeed:
- 2+ Years of experience in calculating and reconciling complex customer accounts and property settlement or Accounts Payable.
- Proven experience with commercial accounting software and the ability to read and interpret legal contracts
- Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship management skills
- Australian work rights and a willingness to submit a National Crime Check application.
