We are looking for a full-time Maintenance Officer to join our maintenance team at our ANZAC Village in Narrabeen.
This role will be to support and manage the team with labouring duties associated with general maintenance activities, to ensure the aged care home is always looking and operating at its very best.
Responsibilities Include- Work as part of a dynamic team to provide reactive and planned preventative maintenance within our 4 aged care facilities at our flagship site
- Work to established best practise and maintain homes to the highest standard
- Working in a Busy team environment with no day the same
- Working alongside contractors where relevant, ensuring all work carried out to compliance requirements
- Carrying out General maintenance and repairs; this may include patching & painting, replacing globes and all aspects of basic building maintenance
- Ensuring all paperwork, documentation and system processes are adhered to
Preferred Attributes
- Previous experience in a maintenance role, aged care preferable but not necessary
- Liaising with contractors including providing access, organising repairs, and supervising when necessary
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail & excellent communication skills
- First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain this desirable
- A current NSW driver's license
- Computer skills
- Ability to interact with the elderly residents on a day to day basis

As a Cleaning Assistant at RSL LifeCare, every day you're empowered to make a meaningful difference to people's lives. You will have the opportunity to:- Adherence to general cleaning schedule ensuring all areas area maintained at an acceptable level of cleanliness.
- Check and replenish supplies such as liquid soap, paper towels, toilet paper etc.
- Check supply of cleaning chemicals and fill containers as required.
- Spot clean spills
- Ensure safe handling and use of chemicals.
- Comply with relevant RSL LifeCare WHS policies, procedures, and reasonable instruction
- Maintain a safe work environment and take reasonable care for others' health and safety(including visitors, Community members, team members and contractors)

As a Laundry Assistant at RSL LifeCare, every day you're empowered to make a meaningful difference to people's lives. You will have the opportunity to:- Sort contents of the washing bags and trolleys and indicated contents
- on laundry dockets then, wash, iron, fold and pack.
- Cleaning daily of all clothing dryer lint filters.
- Check supply of cleaning chemicals and fill containers as required.
- Assist with production flow, i.e. wash, dry, fold, pack, sort, deliver and disperse clothing and associated healthcare accessories as directed.
- Assist in the packing and ordering of linen.
- Assist in the preparation for the next week, such as punching docket sheets and filling folders.
- Assist in cleaning machinery and general laundry area.
- Ensure safe handling and use of chemicals.

As our new Community Services Manager, you will be the senior leader with overall responsibility for managing, leading and governing all RSL LifeCare Home Care operations across Western regional NSW including Kandos, Dubbo and Mudgee. You will support a team of case managers, team leader, support workers, admin staff and a clinical team with oversight from the Clinical Care Manager.
Flexible base location: Kandos with weekly travel to our Dubbo office or Dubbo with weekly travel to our Kandos office.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be working in a fast-paced environment and one that is constantly evolving. Overseeing the community care functions, you will drive an effective, efficient, and scalable operation that is always focused on delivering superior service and continuous progress.
