    About the role:
    Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the General Manager Lifestyle and Community will be empowered to set the direction and lead the ongoing development of all lifestyle programs and services to meet the needs of veterans and seniors within our communities across Residential Care, Retirement Living and Home Care. This role will present the opportunity to:

    • Develop a plan that delivers tangible improvements to lifestyle and community experiences, evidenced by metrics, including customer conversion, engagement and retention
    • Drive innovation in the development of lifestyle programs to enhance the overall experience of our community members
    • Design and implement operating models, programs and services that address health and ageing challenges, including new ways of using technology and new models of care and support
    • Leverage data insights to build segmentation and a more tailored approach to delivering services and grow engagement
    • Lead the ongoing development and delivery of training and education for customer facing employees to embed an enhanced community member experience
    • Proactively identify the implications of relevant laws, regulations, standards and practices and identify and deliver service improvements that ensures RSLLC is ahead of industry requirements
    • Mentor, coach and inspire Lifestyle and Wellbeing teams that delivers a focus on individual community member's preferences and abilities in the areas of leisure, lifestyle, wellness, and community engagement
    • Demonstrate leadership qualities that build and develop a high-performing and highly engaged team - be an advocate for positive change


    About You:
    We are excited to hear from you about this role! We are looking out for:

    • A depth of experience leading the development and delivery of lifestyle programs and services in a residential, healthcare and/or community setting
    • Demonstrated ability to engage teams and key stakeholders to lead effective change across a multi-site organisation
    • Demonstrated ability to make decisions which balance commercial outcomes, customer experience and risk mitigation
    • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in rehabilitation techniques and delivering services that take into consideration the recipient's cognitive and physical abilities.
    • Demonstrated success in designing, communicating and embedding operating models (systems, operations and governance) to improve the service delivery of care to others
    • Experience in leading and motivating geographically dispersed teams
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Previous experience working in the aged care sector will be highly regarded, as will tertiary qualifications in Health Services Management, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology or related discipline.

    About the role:
    Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the General Manager Hospitality Services has responsibility for the direction and outcomes of all hospitality programs and services provided to community members of RSL LifeCare, including food service, laundry and cleaning. The role is responsible for leading innovation and ongoing development of programs and services with a focus on meeting the needs of veterans and seniors within our Home Care, Residential Care and Retirement Living communities. This role will present the opportunity to:

    • Lead the strategic direction and supervision of food services, housekeeping (laundry and cleaning), and contractors to deliver tailored, responsive customer-focused care
    • Engage in innovative development of new menus with a focus on providing choice, new and nutritional dining experiences for our residents clients and stakeholders
    • Develop a high performing and engaged geographically dispersed team to provide high quality catering, cleaning & laundry services
    • Ensure effective allocation of human, material, and financial resources to achieve planned goals and outcomes
    • Ensure effective negotiation of contracts with outsourced suppliers, monitoring and managing them to agreed SLAs / KPIs
    • Ensure compliance with Food Safety regulations, as well as Aged Care and HACCP standards


    About You:

    • Experience leading the development and delivery of hospitality programs and services within a Healthcare, Aged Care or Hotelier organisation
    • Demonstrated ability to lead change and sustain a high-performing team within a multi-site organisation
    • Strong financial acumen with experience performing effectively against operational budgets across multiple locations
    • Experience effectively managing compliance within a complex regulatory environment and knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to hospitality services within the Aged Care sector

RSL LifeCare is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to work as a cleaner, who would love to make a difference in the lives of veterans and aged care residents at our 64 bed residential aged care home in Peter Sinclair Gardens, Hawks Nest.

The position is available for a competent person to clean common areas of the aged care facility as per the schedule and as required. Duties include vacuuming, dusting, Cobb webbing, washroom hygiene, replenishing paper stock as required, and stock control - including cleaning showers and toilets and taking out and bringing in garbage bins.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have experience in cleaning; aged care cleaning experience is desirable but not necessary
  • Follow the Occupational Health and Safety Policy within the organization by maintaining a safe and clean environment for residents, staff, and visitors
  • Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures
  • Have a positive outlook and enjoy working co-operatively in a team
  • Want to make a difference and contribute to the wellbeing of others
