    Role Responsibilities:
    As a Cleaner, your primary responsibilities will include maintaining the cleanliness of common areas within the retirement village. This involves tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, Cobb webbing, washroom hygiene, replenishing paper stock, stock control, cleaning showers and toilets, and managing garbage bins.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • To succeed in this role, you should:
    • Have prior experience in cleaning; aged care cleaning experience is desirable but not necessary.
    • Follow the Occupational Health and Safety Policy to maintain a safe and clean environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
    • Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
    • Possess a positive outlook and enjoy collaborative teamwork.
    • Be committed to making a difference and contributing to the well-being of others.
    • You will be providing a helping hand with daily cleaning to ensure the facility that is our resident's home, are looking its very best.

    We are seeking an experienced and driven Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) who is committed to the ongoing professional development of our staff. You will have a strong focus on nursing education and a drive to enhance the skills and knowledge our staff in our Residential Care Facilities across the Northern NSW region.

    You will be responsible for developing and delivering education resources that reflect best practice as well as supporting the development of clinical competencies aligned to Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Standards, resident needs, and organisational requirements.

    Who are you:

    We are seeking an applicant who is committed to ongoing professional development with a strong focus on nursing education. The ideal candidate will possess experience in clinical nursing education, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and the motivation to share knowledge with and develop others.

    You will have excellent clinical teaching and competency-based assessment skills and have a clear understanding of the use of contemporary information systems required to inform the development of specialty education programs within the aged care sector.

    Skills required

    • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in clinical education setting.
    • Demonstrated understanding of contemporary adult learning principles and how they apply to the clinical teaching environment.
    • Demonstrated clinical teaching & facilitation skills including knowledge of competency frameworks and assessment.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Willingness to travel to RSL LifeCare Residential Care and Home Care sites.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in supervision of clinical practice, mentoring and coaching of care teams.

    Peter Sinclair Gardens Hawks Nest (Near Port Stephens) is currently hiring for a Quality Coordinator and support our elderly residents at this 64 bed aged care home. You will be responsible for audits, surveys, Quality Indicators reporting, and continuous improvement.

    To be successful for this role, you will have:

    • Tertiary qualifications in Aged Care

If you have experience in caring for elderly or vulnerable individuals in the community or group home setting and are looking for your next opportunity, we have the role for you! We are hiring Carers for our 60 bed aged care home in Dungog - Lara Aged Care on Hospital Road.

On offer is ongoing rostered shifts throughout the week including weekends with shifts ranging from Mornings, Afternoons and Night duties.

You have the opportunity to pick up permanent shifts with penalty rates and 17.5 % leave loading on paid annual leave or work as a casual and take the casual loading of 25%.

What are we looking for:

  • A genuine caring nature with demonstrated tolerance, patience and empathy for the elderly in the community
  • Demonstrated experience in caring for the elderly and/or vulnerable individuals in a residential/ group home setting and/or community is desirable
  • Certificate III in Individual support or similar
  • Australian work rights
  • NDIS Workers Screening check (for NDIS homes)

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.
