We are currently looking to expand our team and have vacancies for Rostering Partners to manage and coordinate staff rostering across our 29 Residential Care locations in New South Wales and the ACT. In this essential role, you will ensure optimal staffing levels, cost-effective shift allocations, and smooth operations to enable our frontline teams to deliver exceptional care to our residents.
This is a part-time opportunity: morning & afternoon/evening shifts - 38 hours over a fortnight. Shift patterns: 6am-2pm & 12pm-8pm
As a Rostering Partner, you will:- Oversee the rostering function by meeting monthly and quarterly targets, updating rosters fortnightly, and managing day-to-day adjustments
- Ensure timely and appropriate staffing for shifts, aligning with Care Minute guidelines and employee contracts
- Maintain and manage roster schedules, ensuring all vacant shifts are covered according to best practices
- Monitor and adjust rosters based on occupancy, staff availability, and other factors in consultation with the Workforce Manager
- Handle compliance, forward planning, unplanned leave, and agency spend
- Set up new employees in UKG Dimensions, adhering to Onboarding Policy
- Liaise with preferred supplier agencies to manage agency usage
About you:
- Proven knowledge of workforce and resource planning methodologies and their practical applications
- Experience in resource planning within an on-site facility environment, with strong numerical reasoning and attention to detail
- Familiarity with rostering software/systems such as UKG Dimensions or similar
- Strong organisational and planning skills to establish action plans and meet objectives within set priorities and timelines
- Proven success in stakeholder management - ability to adapt your communication style when working with a range of internal clients
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for providing informed advice on complex resource planning issues
- A team player - working & supporting your colleagues is key to our success

About the Role
As a Support Worker, you'll help people stay safe and comfortable at home by:
- Helping with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming)
- Providing respite care (giving carers a break)
- Helping clients stay active and connected in their community
- Following care plans to meet each person's needs
- Working as a team to provide the best support possible

What You Need
Must-Haves:
- A caring nature - Passionate about helping people
- Good communication skills - Able to chat and listen to clients and team members
- Ability to work independently - Comfortable using technology in your role

- A valid driver's licence

- A Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to get one)
Nice-to-Have (but not required):
- Certificate in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services (We provide training if you don't have one!)
- Experience in aged care or disability support
- First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to get one)

About the role:
We are seeking an individual to join our team at the Hawkesbury Veteran and Family Hub as a Claims Advisor. In this role, you will provide guidance and support to current and former Defence personnel and their families, navigating various claims, including pensions and benefits.
Your role will involve assisting and supporting Veterans throughout the application process with relevant government departments, all with the ultimate goal of achieving the best possible outcomes.
Who are you:- Compensation Advocate (or working towards)
- Understanding of defence-related illnesses and conditions
- Ability to establish and build meaningful relationships internally and externally
- Highly developed communication skills and the ability to prioritise, manage and problem solve procedures
