What is a Carer Traineeship?

A traineeship with us means that you will commence working with us, be paid, and undertake training while you work. You will work set shifts with us, and then will also be paid to attend weekly training to obtain a Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing). Did we mention that your qualification is also free!

You will be well supported by our teams, managers and peers who are also undertaking Traineeships.

Once you have finished the traineeships (usually 12 months), you are guaranteed a permanent role with us.

What do you need to bring?

• A bright and positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Tolerance, patience and empathy with older people
• Willingness to undertake a police check
• Flu & COVID vaccination or willingness to obtain
