Stage one of the project was complete in June 2021 and is ready to welcome new residents
What are the deferred management fees (departure fees)?
When you move into a retirement living unit in Bullecourt Village, the payment you make upon entry is non-refundable. The DMF is calculated on the entry purchase price at 2.5% per annum for the first 8 years. This amount contributes to the ongoing costs of managing the village.
RSL LifeCare retain 100% of the Capital gain or loss.
Once I have decided on a purchase of a home, how long until I have to pay?
We prefer settlement within 3 months of the deposit. However, we understand that you may need to sell your current home in order to complete the purchase – if this hasn’t happened within the set period, we can review the situation with you, and may be able to offer an extension. Your deposit is fully refundable up until settlement, at any time should you not choose to proceed. In your best interests, we strongly recommend that you seek independent financial and legal advice as part of your research.

What happens if we are/I am no longer able to live independently?

There is also some useful information about moving into aged care on the government website www.myagedcare.gov.au
