The Poppy Ball 2024 will be held in Sydney on Saturday 23 November 2024.
Drawing on the significance of the poppy in our nation’s military history, the Poppy Ball 2024 is a fundraising gala event, with all proceeds going to support our services for veterans and their families.
This year’s event is a black-tie Cocktail event, with drinks, entertainment, and auctions. Held in Victoria Barracks in Sydney, guests will enjoy roving entertainment, and a variety of cuisines. And an exclusive guest performance from John Schumann, writer of the icon Australian anthem, I Was Only 19.

Funds raised will provide key services for veterans and their families, to help veterans transition from service life into civilian life. Services include career transition support, counselling, financial assistance, DVA application assistance, housing support, wellbeing services and more.
