Assessing Eligibility

Entry into an Aged Care Home is only possible after an Aged Care Assessment has been completed.

This assessment is done by a person appointed by the government and can take 4 – 6 weeks. Approvals will either be for Residential Respite – High/Low Care or Residential Permanent Care.

Once your assessment has been completed and you have received your approval letter please contact your care home of choice for further assistance or make an appointment to meet with us.
